We’ve heard it all before, doing what you love can not only make you happier, it can make you healthier too. Add financial success into that formula and you have a winning package, but is it really true, does spending your hours working on the things you love really bring financial success? I took a look at one prominent newcomer to the photography scene to see if their niche market was really bringing them what they wanted in life and I observed through reading articles and attending workshops that they loved not only what they were doing but they really loved what they did too. I know it sounds confusing but its really simple, let me explain
Jasmine Star is one of the newest upcoming photographers around she was just recently voted one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers by American Photo Magazine. Her wedding photography is exquisite and shows a real passion in her work. She began frequenting forums a few years ago back around 2007. I know this because she was on a couple of those forums with me. I watched her grow as she began to do what she loved which was weddings. She herself admits that it took time to really learn to love what she wanted to do. She started off doing family portraits but realized it wasn’t bringing her the money she wanted and needed and offering her the time she wanted to focus in on the thing she truly loved most which was weddings. So you ask how did she change that? Well she did a couple of things that Im going to share with you

She quit doing family sessions, was it hard ? The answer is Yes . She admitted that she was quite scared about the prospect
of not having clients to photograph but she had faith in her abilities, she loved weddings and wanted to focus on that so she forged ahead with her plan to book more weddings ,the thing she really desired.

She quit posting family sessions on her blog and began posting wedding pictures, she began to target her audience with the things they wanted to see and by doing so attracted more clients in the target market area she was looking for and in turn booked more weddings to photograph, it was a win-win for everyone!
So there it is if you want to be successful in your business, Do what you Love and Love what you do and the success will come, I promise You.
